Railway Station THESSALONIKI (C.O. STATION)

R.S. THESSALONIKI (C.O. STATION): The station was located in the place of current freight station in city near the Thessaloniki port. It belonged to the section of line Thessaloniki - Skopje, which was putted into operation in June 1872 by Compagnie des Chemins de Fer Orientaux railway company (also known as C.O.). The station also served the line of Chemin de Fer de Salonique a Monastir railway company, in direction Thessaloniki - Monastiri. The station does not exist today. Since 1967 there is the new station of city.
